CUT Status Check 2024 Online using ID or Through Call
After spending years in school and college, you get admission to the university. But the problem that occurs with almost all students including me is understanding the mechanism of higher education institutes.
The same goes for the Central University of Technology, where domestic and international students dream of getting admission. As you apply for admission, they provide you with a pin and or passport number.
This number is your identification in the system of the institute. But checking the application status is not as simple as it seems, you must know the right use of the passport number.
I took 3 days to understand the mechanism to check my application status when I applied for admission. Well, I will never let it happen to anyone else so follow my lead, we will explore multiple ways to check CUT status.
CUT Status Check Using ID
If you are new to the university, don’t worry, they have a simple but a bit longer mechanism. The Institute does not ask every student to come to the office of the Head of the department and get instructions.
Instead, when you get admission to the university, they provide you with a PIN or passport number. It is considered as the identity of the student. So, you must have an ID number or passport number for checking the application status.

CUT Status Check Using Phone Call
If you do not have internet, don’t panic, still you can check the status of your application. I have another way to check the CUT application status without the internet, so follow my instructions.
Call the official number of the university (mentioned below) and wait until the person on the next side picks up your call.

Once you hear any response, share your problem, and tell them you wanted to view the status urgently but because of no internet, you are unable to open the CUT official website.
You should have the PIN or passport number for helping them identify you. Provide them the accurate information and wait until the person next to you finds out all the details. You can ask any kind of question such as when you should join or why they have rejected your application.
Do Note
You should never use fake numbers or identity, it can cause serious consequences even if you see the jail. Plus, do not try to trick the person next to you on the call.
However, the applicant must have the ID number or the passport number to approach or view the status. As well as, you should know how to prove you are not a robot, otherwise you cannot log in. You should also know the application status is shown after four to six weeks.

CUT Status Codes Meanings
You might see the complete statements or see the half words. But the problem occurs when the website shows you only the alphabet. I have decoded all the alphabets they use and possibly use in the future. Open the website, log in, and see which one appears on the screen.

| A | The straightforward meaning of this code or symbol is, if the application has been accepted, and you can join the programme in CUT. |
| B | The HESA or SAQA certification application is excellent. |
| C | It simply represents the cancellation of an application. |
| D | The instruction decision has not been taken yet. |
| E | The application has been accepted but with a few conditions. |
| DE | Your application will be re-evaluated after the finals of the 12th grade are released. |
| X | If you see X on the application status, it indicates that the marks of the applicant are not sufficient enough to get admission in the programme, while you can choose another program. |
| Z | Your application has not been accepted for the programme you selected but you have a choice to pick up something else. |
These are the commonly used codes and symbols CUT’s official website possesses. All you need is to see the progress of your application and then match those codes with this table, everything will be clear to you. Now we should move on to the second methodology.
