VC always struggle to adopt the latest system and infrastructure that will help student in gaining quality education, and the launch of the VC student portal is one of those steps. The VC student portal helps you to track the academic calendar, register for new courses, see the free structure or available scholarships, and whatnot. VC’s student portal aims to provide ease to enrolled students as they can now access the courses, registration, fee structure, calendar, and other useful links. You don’t need to write assignments and pending projects on a notebook or something as you can easily manage everything on the VC portal.

Though there are a couple of benefits of the VC’s student portal but many students are not aware of how to log in to the account, how to change passwords, how to register, and more. Don’t worry! How To Access VC Student Portal?

Well, accessing the VC’s student portal is not a tedious task to do, but it is possible that a beginner or first-time user doesn’t know how to do it. When I got enrolled in VC, I was also not aware of how to log in to the VC’s student portal and manage it for future use because VC didn’t give any orientation related to the portal.

However, once you learn how to sign in to the VC’s student portal and its functions in detail, you’ll easily run it in the future with no inconvenience. Let’s start this guide with how to access the VC’s student portal.

The first thing you need to do is to open the browsing application on the gadgets like Safari, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or any other.
After opening the application, you’ll see a URL tab on the top of the screen where you need to enter the address of the official website of Varsity College.
You can simply write the Varsity College on Google or other browsing apps, and press enter. The first link that appears on the screen is probably the official site of VC. For your ease, I’m dropping the direct link to the VC’s official website here: varsitycollege.co.za/.
When you navigate to this link, the homepage of Varsity College will appear on the screen showing different columns in multiple colors. You need to tap on the current student tab that is located at the top of the homepage.
When you tap on the current student tab, a drop list will appear on the screen showing the following three options: My VC Student Intranet, VC Assist, and Apply Now. Please click on the “My VC Student Intranet” option. A new tab will appear on the screen giving you two fields: username and password, where you have to enter the login details provided by the institute to each student.
You can also change the login details, especially the password anytime through your portal. Please make sure to keep the login details confidential and never share them with your friends or someone from inside or outside the university to avoid any false acts in the future.

How to Change VC Student Portal Login Password?

You can change the VC’s student portal password from the portal. Log in to the account by entering the username and password into the fields and clicking on the next button. Now tap on the three parallel lines to see the menu, and go to the change the password option. Now you need to enter the old passwords and a new password twice. After filling in all the required fields, click on change password and you are done.

Please note that once you changed the password of VC’s student portal, the old password will no longer work. Therefore, I always suggest students to brainstorm a few passwords in mind that they’ll remember always. Never set passwords that are easier to identify or guess for others for example your phone number, name, etc.

According to the guidelines by VC, you should change the password of VC’s student portal often for security purposes i.e., twice a month or more. Well, it’s not mandatory but highly suggested.

Who Can Access The VC Student Portal?

Students who are enrolled in the Varsity College can access the VC Student Portal. Lecturers and professors can also access the portal to upload the materials to study i.e., lectures, relevant documents, assignments, projects, and more. Students who are returning to rejoin the Varsity College can also access the VC Student Portal.

However, students who’ve not to get enrolled in Varsity College now or those who are still planning to join the college cannot log in to the VC Student Portal. They can only visit the official website of the Varsity College.

What Is The Purpose Of the VC Student Portal?

There are many functions of the VC Student Portal, for example, it gives students access to material that teachers have uploaded for studying in the course, students can register for new courses at Varsity College through the portal, they can pay their fees and download the fee submission forms, application forms, and more via the portal.

In addition, students can also see the transcript and results, admission status, admission letter, and deferment for admission. They can track the academic calendar for each semester any time, and request additional credit hours or coursework.
