Pursuing education is the right of every citizen in South Africa but because of the high cost of education, middle, and lower middle class citizens are leaving their studies in their middle.

Now there is a way to complete your education without worrying about the fees and other expenditures, the ISFAP Bursary. Its funds will cover your tuition fees, and your meal cost, providing you with cash and accommodation.

ISFAP Bursary | Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme

Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme Funding

The Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme has helped thousands of young people who wanted to pursue education. You can be one of them in the future if you are eligible and fulfill the requirements. I know you will ask “Which requirements?” or “How to see the eligibility criteria?” Don’t worry, here I will guide you about all the ISFAP Bursary 2023. Spare is only 5 minutes from your busy routine and comes with me. Here we go!

As you know, South Africa is one of the fastest developing countries in the world. A few years ago, in 2017, the country had a lack of skilled people such as engineers. It had two major reasons; first, people do not select this field because of hard work and its bad reputation.

The second possible and major reason, people do not have the opportunity to join skilled programmes such as Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

At that moment, the institute took the place and started providing scholarships to the people who qualify for them. Basically, the institute is associated with certain Universities and Educational Institutes. It offers multiple programmes in different universities. Anyhow, I have narrowed down the details of how to apply and I also collected a list of a few affiliated universities. Take a look below!

In Which Areas Bursary Will Assist Me?

That could be a tricky question because it not only depends on the person who is getting the scholarships but also on the university where he is getting admission. Actually, it covers all the expenses of a student during his education journey. Anyhow, I have a list of the areas the bursary covers.

  • Tuition Fee: Good news for those who are eligible for the ISFAP assistance programme because the institute will pay 100% fees of the student. It believes that if the student is stressed regarding the fee, he cannot study and grow properly.
  • Accommodation: The next is a place to live which may vary from one university to another university policy. You may get a university residence or the ISFAP will pay you to get a rental house.
  • Meals: The special meal with all the required nutrition is provided to the students. It includes carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and vitamins. The meal is provided by the institute for free as the charges are given by the ISFAP directly to the institute.
  • Study Material: The people who cannot afford the related study material including course books, articles, thesis, papers, and magazines, all are provided by the institute for free and the charges are directly paid to the institute.
  • Cash Allowance: ISFAP Bursary also provides a stipend to the students monthly. You can also call it pocket money but the purpose of providing this money is to assist students in emergency conditions.
